SATURDAY SHORT: THE ART OF DROWNING (2009)
Diego Maclean directs this striking animation for Billy Collins’ poem “The Art of Drowning”. The poem contemplates, or rather criticizes, the theory of one’s whole life manifesting itself the very second before one dies.

SATURDAY SHORT: CHRISTMAS CRACKER (1963)
“Christmas Cracker” consists of three segments that have very little in common with each other, besides the fact that they are Christmas based, and are each introduced by a mime-like jester. SATURDAY SHORT: DR. FAUSEN’S CHILDREN (2009)
A son of Dr. Fausen’s narrates a small story about him and a few of his neon colored siblings. “Dr. Fausen’s Children” is much weirder than any short description can let on without giving too much away.
