SATURDAY SHORT: UNDONE (2008)
Alone at sea, an aged fisherman struggles to hold onto the various items he reels in. Yielding no progress, he begins to epitomize the inescapable progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
With such beautiful imagery and shocking surrealism, “Undone” could only be assembled by a first-hand witness to the effects of the illness.

SATURDAY SHORT: YUM YUM SHAMPOO (2007)
Bufford, an unkempt social outcast, attempts to gain acceptance through the use of Yum Yum brand hair products.
More strange humor, including an Asian playing “Hotel California” at a thrift store, and a rap video about digestion, can be found on The Octocorn Network’s Youtube channel.
SATURDAY SHORT: WOFL 2106 (2006)
With the success of his shorts “The External World” (2011) and “Please Say Something” (2009) in festivals across the globe, David O’Reilly has become a shorts director who is not so easily overlooked anymore. Although “WOFL 2106” may not be his best short to date, it is a great introduction into his work.
WARNING: A few complaints have been made about the sound in this video. It can be a little jarring, so if you have sensitive ears be sure to keep the volume a little lower than normal.

SATURDAY SHORT: SALMA (2011)
In this short a teenage girl copes with the preventable death of her father. Although ethics and war don’t necessarily go hand in hand, “Salma” demonstrates the importance of creating weapons that do not put the lives of innocent civilians in jeopardy long after the conflict is over.
