There’s a lot going on behind the scenes here at 366 Weird Movies, and we’ve got a busy offline week ahead of us. Nonetheless, next week we’re planning on releasing a review of 2009’s animated hit Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (a reader suggested we cover it), along with a double feature of John Waters related movies: the 2013 documentary I Am Divine, and Waters’ recently Blu-rayed 1990 Johnny Depp vehicle Cry-Baby. Alfred Eaker will check in with a pre-code Barbara Stanwyck double feature of Night Nurse (1931) and Baby Face (1933) to close out the week.

It was another very slight week for weird search terms used to find the site, but we will share what we found with you in a weekly feature we call “Weirdest Search Terms of the Week.” Our first nominee is “i’m looking for a movie that involved male teen and slugs.”  Now, there are probably billions of guys out there looking for movies matching up teens and slugs—we warned you this wasn’t a particularly great week in weird search terms. A little stranger, however, is “old movie with little man sliding on vagina walls,” which is an oddly unerotic vaginal scenario. Still, we’ll give our official Weirdest Search Term of the Week award to “cannibals living in a glass box in the desert,” simply because it raises such intriguing questions: who put them in a glass box? What do they eat? And, wouldn’t the cannibals overheat with the desert sun beating down on them?
