The Unraveling (2023): After an accident, a woman becomes convinced she has shifted into an alternate universe (but can still receive calls from her husband in her original reality). Releases simultaneously in some cinema somewhere; more widely available on VOD. The Unraveling distributor’s FaceBook page.

WHAT’S IN THE PIPELINE:

No guest scheduled for Pod 366 next week; Giles and Greg will return to discuss the week’s weird news and new releases. On the written review front, Shane Wilson continues plundering the reader-suggested queue for Halloween-appropriate candidates; this week he explores the comically haunted House (1986); Giles Edwards reports on the time-traveling bank robber indie Things Will Be Different (2024); and after several positive reports, Gregory J. Smalley decides it’s not too late to get a taste of The Substance (2024). We’ll also sneak in a link for a bonus podcast (though not Pod 366) on Sunday (you’ll see). Onward and weirdward!
