We’re ready to take suggestions and votes in the comments for our next Weird Watch party, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 7 at 10:15 PM ET.
If you’d like to attend our watch party, then the important thing is to RSVP in the comments, where you can make a screening suggestion, or just say you plan to be there.
Nominations are open for movies on any of the three platforms we’ve used—Netflix, Prime or Tubi/Kast. When making your nomination, simply comment with “I think we should watch Weird Movie on Netflix” or “I propose Strange Movie on Tubi” or “How about Weird Movie 2: Electric Boogaloo on Prime?”
When the party is set to begin we’ll announce it in three places:
- On this site (if you’ve signed up for regular email alerts via the sidebar you’ll also get a notice that way)
- On our Facebook page
- On Twitter
Make your nominations and/or RSVP in the comments below.
I will suggest Crumbs (2015) on Tubi again.
Yes, so glad that Saint Bernard is getting a review on here! One of the most bizarre movies to come out in recent years and one that definitely deserves more attention. Also I nominate Fatal Pulse (on Tubi.)
Let me add that despite the Steven Segal-sounding title, “Fatal Pulse” is a Damon Packard film (apparently his attempt to make an action movie).
So, was St. Bernard worth watching? Should I give that a spin?
I’m likely out this next time unfortunately. I’ll let y’all know if that changes, however.
I’d say so. It’s getting a “weirdest” badge, and you can read Giles’ review in a couple of weeks if you need more info.
I vote for Fatal Pulse. According to imdb there’s going to be a Reflections of Evil 2 (!?) so it seems like a good time to revisit Packard’s oeuvre
We’ll leave commenting up through the weekend, but it looks like Fatal Pulse will likely be the choice.
