Just came from the “High and Gruesome” vid, and can see why they made the sequel! Verlin and Iris’ Peewee Herman-esque world is delightfully offbeat, and I really enjoyed the random dialogue exchanges. What’s even funnier is realizing that the actors playing V & I look EXACTLY the same in the latest flick, despite the 10+ years that have passed since this one was made. How spooky is that???
