Next week we’ll be taking a look at Paramount’s 1933 “all-star” (well, Cary Grant and W.C. Fields, at least) version of Alice in Wonderland, which was only released on DVD last year and which has a unique creepiness all its own; well screen the superhero black comedy Super, currently in theaters; we’ll visit Terry Gilliam‘s bizarro bureaucratic dystopia, Brazil;  and Alfred will continue his series on the Tod Browning/Lon Chaney collaborations with Where East is East (1929), a psychosexual melodrama set among animal trappers China.

This week brought us some very intriguing weird search terms.  “Liv ullman haunted by chickens” sounds like the premise of fascinating but (sadly) unproduced Ingmar Bergman script.  And who doesn’t appreciate the classic weirdness of a search for “satanic buttocks”?  But this week’s winner gets the nod due to pure perseverance.  Last week, we made the search “young imprisoned male breastfeeding films” an honorable mention for weirdest search term of the week.  That intrepid searcher is still at it, and, despite finding no Google results for this very rare indeed subgenre, he’s decided to be more specific and search for “young imprisoned male breastfeeding films from brazil.”  Congratulations, random web surfer, your fetishistic persistence has earned your submission the title of “Weirdest Search Term of the Week!”
