Well, that certainly was weird! The music is perfect and alludes to the unexpected yet to come right from the outset. And still I wonder: did the boy accidentally summon the voracious cloud by personalizing his picture of it with eyes? Was the cloud’s objective to overwhelm the school and city or was its invasive energy simply seeking sustenance? And why was the boy who started it all eventually expelled, intact but naked and alone as God’s Adam in a world now empty of other humans? Delightfully strange and thought-provoking!
