Thanks for trying Jim, but I have seen Tiny Town and I'm sure that's not what Orloff was thinking of. No Samurais or Nazis in Tiny Town. I still think he's remembering The Wild East, there are just too many similarities.

BLUE CAP WITH HAND IN WHITE GLOVE ON THE TOP: Something like willy wonkas, there is a little boy that wins some privilege to enter a “subterranean dysneyland world” he receives from the ruler of this strange new world a blue baseball cap with a white hand – glove attached to the top, there are thousands of kids like him, everyone wearing that blue cap – white hand on their heads and they are like slaves for an evil purpose, so this child starts a revolution against the evil but fantastic subterranean land, at some point he gets caught by the enemies and falls down through a slide to a bizarre jail and there is a monster and a big music machine that makes strange weird music. Other scene i remember is the thousands of kids playing one gigantic – endless piano keyboard, all at the same time, everyone whit those blue – white glove caps on their heads.

Erich, now that is an obscure recommendation! “Star Maidens” is on Region 0 DVD but only in PAL (non-US) format. I’ll put it in queue nonetheless.

By the way, everyone should check out Erich’s “Acidemic” blog (assuming you have time for non 366-related reading, of course). His “Acidemic-Psychedelic Canon” is full of Certified Weird movies (and some that will be certified later). In fact, I’ve been meaning to add Acidemic to the blogroll—there, done.
