First of all, congratulations to coming up with that "rounded up" line. If movie criticism made sense, that would be brought up every time this movie was mentioned.

I feel like an apostate saying this, but I have never really liked a Fellini film. At their base they always seem to be saying that "La Dolce Vita" is not all it's cracked up to be. Well, of course it isn't. Who cares? The circus that Fellini spends his time obsessing about is a fraudulent game played by bored rich folks. And who cares?

Fellini made some undeniably well made movies expounding on the withering ennui of the entertainment industry, but I'll be damned if I can summon up any interest in it.

Excellent review! You really encapsulated my feelings on the film. That last sentence is a great "oh snap!" moment.

And while I agree Fergie's is the only truly standout musical number, I actually really liked Kate Hudson's scene- the song is super catchy and the dancing was so fun! I guess I'm just a sucker for some fringe and go-go boots.
